My site is a Canadian site. Going through Cloudflare makes it a US site.
If any company in Canada restricts their employees only to Canadian sites, then my site will be blocked as even though the server is in Canada, using Cloudflare makes it a US site.
Is there a way Cloudflare can restrict the IP addresses to be strictly Canadian IPs?
Cloudflare uses anycast for their IPs.
In addition to what @Cyb3r-Jak3 said - if they limited access by the country that the IP was registered in then they wouldn’t be able to access the Canadian government website itself.
https://www.canada.ca resolves to an Akamai IP registered in the US - which is exactly the same scenario as Cloudflare.
