Can Wildcard DNS(+CDN) with Free plan now?

First, I know that can’t add wildcard records (with CDN) on a free plan…

Once I’ve added it as a DNS-only entry, after clicking on the cloud icon (Toggle CDN/Direct button), It looks like enable the CDN. Is this the intended behavior?

Oh…that glitch is back. I expect they’ll get around to fixing it at some point.
