Can the % cached traffic be increased? Currently its 44%

The current cached traffic is 44.52% daily. If this can be increased, then please help.

What’s your website?

www.fancyfonts.top

Where can I find it? Is it free or paid? And my website www.fancyfonts.top is not on Wordpress or any cms. It is just a static website.

If your website is totally static, then you can create a page rule that matches www.fancyfonts.top/* with Cache Level - Cache Everything setting.

Try this and if possible host on cloudflare workers

See if the settings are correct or not (screenshot is attached). Do I need to put HTTP or https at the beginning of URL. I have other page rules like:

    • fancyfonts.top/*
  1. http://www.fancyfonts.top/*
    Forwarding URL (Status Code: 301 - Permanent Redirect, Url: https://www.fancyfonts.top/$1)

Since you have another page rule that matches http:// which redirects to https://, so it’s a good idea to insert https:// in front of the Cache Everything URL.

I have applied the page rule settings. Let’s hope that the cache % should increase. Thank you for your time.

Additionally, you can also set the Edge Cache TTL in the same page rule to control how long your assets can be cached in Cloudflare.

whats the recommended edge cache ttl?

TTL is a maximum amount of time it’s ok to cache something. If you never change anything, you can set it to 1 month. If you make frequent changes, than less. Or you can manually “Purge Everything” from the cache page whenever you make an update.

Keep in mind that Edge Cache TTLS is just a polite request to Cloudflare to keep files in cache. Low traffic resources get purged early to make room for others that need it.

I am confused about whether the cached version of the website is working or not on PC. On mobile phones, the website is being loaded instantly. But on PC it’s taking a lot of time. Also, I use ads on the site.

On my PC, the cache seems to apply.

Advertising and share widgets seem to be slow down sites.
If you prevent the layout deviation around “min-height” div, it may be a better appearance.

<div style="min-height: 258px;">your header ad code</div>

I think that you can also make advertising display slightly quickly in Preload and Preconnect.

In header

 <link rel="preconnect dns-prefetch" href="//googleads.g.doubleclick.net" crossorigin>

Hi, I have added the mentioned changes in this page: Cute Fonts Generator: Cute Text Fonts Online 😎

Could you please check if this is working or not, so that I could apply it on other pages.

Cache has hit.

Advertising may have been a little earlier …?

Looking at Web Page Test, DNS prefetches are working.

WEB PAGE TEST
https://www.webpagetest.org/

Page top Advertisements are read later and are also worried that CLS is generated.

Solve effect only on PC - TOPADS

If you can not reduce the connection to the site, you will only need to increase DNS-PREFETCH and PRECONECT and to process parallel.

The domain to be connected can be checked in “Water Fall” of the tool listed.

Example code (need edit)

<link rel="preconnect" href="https://example.com">
<link rel="preconnect" href="https://cdn.example.com" crossorigin>
<link rel="preload" href="https://example.com">
<link rel="prefetch" href="https://cdn.example.com" crossorigin>
<link rel="dns-prefeth" href="https://example.com">

Please check the meaning of each code by yourself.

Hi,

The waterfall has so many domains. Which one to put?

Basically

· Resources that take time to read particularly
· Resources loaded at slower timing

Advice is difficult because I do not know the results until I actually test.

If you have time-consuming SSL connections, you may be able to reduce the time by setting Prefetch or preload properly. It will be can check on GTMetrix.

Hi, I have added some more lines of these codes. Could you check if that is helping or not? link: Cute Fonts Generator: Cute Text Fonts Online 😎

Website link is www.fancyfonts.top. I am using ads and also using lazy loading to load it. But the website does not seem to be fast on PC.
