Can’t receive password reset email for Cloudflare account

What is the name of the domain?

morespace.com.hk

What is the error number?

None (no error number shown, but unable to receive password reset email)

What is the error message?

No reset code received. Tried multiple times but nothing arrives in Gmail inbox or spam folder.

What is the issue you’re encountering

I can’t log in to our Cloudflare account because I forgot the password. The account email is REDACTED, but we are not receiving the reset code email. We’ve tried multiple times, but no reset email ever arrives, even though the Gmail account is working and we’ve checked the inbox and spam folder.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  • Tried submitting password reset multiple times on https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-password
  • Confirmed that Gmail is working (we can send and receive other emails)
  • Checked all folders including Spam and Promotions
  • Tried waiting for hours and tried again
  • Confirmed that we’re entering the correct account email

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Go to Cloudflare’s “Forgot Password” page
  2. Enter REDACTED
  3. Submit the form
  4. No reset email is ever received

That domain does not use Cloudflare, there is no indication internally nor externally that it ever has,

The email you shared does not have Cloudflare account, hence no pw reset email was sent

Thanks for the quick reply.

We’re currently working with outsourced engineers, and we’re not 100% sure which domain was connected to Cloudflare, but we are certain that Cloudflare is being used for DNS on one of our active domains.

Is there any way we can search by domain history or get help identifying which domain is using Cloudflare under our Gmail (REDACTED)? We just want to regain access to the correct account.

We’ve seen traffic and DNS activity in Cloudflare in the past, so we know we had access before — we just may have mixed up the domain or email.

Thanks in advance!

You can create a free securitytrails account and search domain history, https://securitytrails.com/domain/morespace.com.hk/history/ns

Going the other way, once you determine the domain name, you can recover access to the account using these links. Note, the only way you’ll be able to regain access is by having access to the email address of the account.

These links may help, but they only work when logged out

If you know the email: https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-password
If you don’t know the email: https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-email

Update: I believe we found the correct domain — it’s morespace.com.tw, and it’s using Cloudflare (NS records confirm it).

I’ll try the forgot-email tool using this domain to locate the correct account. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction earlier!
