Checked it with Internet.bs, they said everything is ok on their side, and I have to address Cloudflare
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
DNS records
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
Hi Cloudflare Community!
So, I did a thing—I deleted my Cloudflare account, thinking it would magically erase everything related to my domain (tatiana.today) in one swoop. Spoiler alert: it didn’t. Now my domain is stuck in DNS limbo, refusing to connect properly to Carrd, and Firefox is throwing a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN tantrum. When I try pointing the DNS to Carrd’s platform, I get the dreaded SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP error.
To leave Cloudflare, you simply change the nameservers at your domain’s registrar. This completely points your domain away from Cloudflare. After this, the settings in your Cloudflare account have absolutely no effect on the domain, and whether you delete or keep the Cloudflare account makes no difference.
And deleting your Cloudflare account before changing the nameservers makes no difference: immediately the nameservers are changed (whenever that happens), the connection to your Cloudflare account ends.
As your domain is not using your assigned Cloudflare’s nameservers any longer, there’s nothing to do in your Cloudflare account to fix your issue.
Rather, you need to go to your current DNS provider (which seems to be InternetBS - ns-[uk,usa,canada].topdns.com) to make any DNS record changes going forward.
Rightnow I can see the domain tatiana.today has an A record pointed at the Cloudflare IP address 172.66.0.70. This is where your issue is!!!
Make sure the domain is pointed at the correct IP address your hosting provider gives you. Again, you make the change in your current DNS Provider’s dashboard, not in Cloudflare. If your hosting provider gave you the above IP address, then contact them to find out why the IP address they gave you isn’t working.
Note that this is not just an SSL issue, as bypassing the SSL error shows the following Cloudflare error page:
Carrd is a Cloudflare customer, which could explain why your domain is pointed at a Cloudflare IP address. But, like I said earlier, you need to contact your hosting provider – Carrd – to fix the problem.
This has absolutely nothing to do with your previous use of Cloudflare. If there’s something to fix in Cloudflare, it will be in Carrd’s Cloudflare account, and not in your Cloudflare account (even if the account existed).
