I own a domain (have been transferred to the Cloudflare registrar) that was used as a Shopify store domain before.
Now I’m hosting a store by myself and pointed the domain to my hosting IP. But If I active Proxy in my A record, It will show the error page of Shopify with the content:
“There was a problem loading this website
Try refreshing the page.
If the site still doesn’t load, please try again in a few minutes”
I can only use the “DNS only” option. Anyone has the same issue or is there any way to fix it?

Is there any difference between contacting the provider to ask them to delete and using the tool (technically)?
There is a technical difference (Liberate the Hostname doesn’t actually delete the hostname from the provider, it merely deactivates it) but the end result is the same.
