Can not create a TXT record with @ as host name

Hi,
I am trying to create a TXT record, i set the host name as @ but when i hit the save button cloudflare insist to save the record with the domain name (as the host name) instead of @
Why?
How can I force @ as the domain name?
Many thanks,
Ziv

It’s just the way the dashboard works. @ means “the domain name”, so when you enter @, then press save, the dashboard will show the domain name instead of @.

@ is not a domain name. It’s shorthand for the apex domain, which is why you see what you do. It’s fine the way it is, and there’s nothing else you need to do.
