Unable to add CNAME DNS record to the domain that is provided by Google Cloud to add a custom domain to the App engine. Help is needed, please. #website-application-performance:reliability

You cannot have a CNAME and an A record for the exact same domain (what would a browser do in this case? prefer the A, or the CNAME?).

You may want to double-check the instructions about adding that CNAME record… (you can post them here if you need help).

From what I can understand the CNAME name (alias) should be “tracking” and not “@” (which stands for the main domain).

Also, you probably need to uncheck the “proxied” for all entries shown in the Google instructions! (otherwise Cloudflare and Google may conflict, but I’m not sure).
