I ask because I’ve been getting constant unsolicited probing traffic from certain IP ranges. I’m wondering if challenging their bots and having them either drop or fail the challenges (instead of simply blocking them) would provide useful signals to Cloudflare for recognizing this kind of traffic. I started challenging them a short while ago and I think I’m seeing a sharp drop in volume. Is there a causal link here?
