Can I use an existing Website/Domain for Cloudflare?

What is the name of the domain?

streamingworld.us

What is the issue you’re encountering

Using sub domains

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I am not actually having an issue. Just need some clarification.
I have an existing server that is configured with multiple websites that are accessed
via the subdomain addresses (eg: website1.streamingworld.us, website2.streamingworld.us, etc.)
I use LXD to create containers for multiple websites that are accessed by their subdomain.

Can I configure another subdomain for cloudflare such as cloudflare.streamingworld.us?
What I really want to do is some experimenting with WHIP/WHEP and WebRTC live broadcasting.

I hesitate to follow your steps to use cloudflare, as the DNS changes could affect all of my other subdomain websites.

You help is appreciated.

The only way to use a subdomain without changing the nameservers for your domain is with a Business Plan and a Partial Setup, or an Enterprise Plan and a Partial or Subdomain setup.

You can move your domain to Cloudflare and add all the DNS records, leaving those for the other subdomains as “DNS only” so Cloudflare only gives DNS services for those subdomains, but you’ll need to make sure the DNS is correct to ensure no downtime.
