Can I transfer a .fr domain to Cloudlfare ?, if so what is the best registrar to go with as Cloudflare don’t yet allow .fr registrations. (I know about the 60 days)

When you say “transfer” do you mean you want to use the domain on Cloudflare? Not that you want to actually transfer the registration? If so, then yes, you can use the domain on Cloudflare regardless of where you have it registered or whether Cloudflare supports registering that TLD.

I should have made it clearer. I meant transfer the domain name TLD to CF. Cloudflare doesn’t currently support registering .fr domains and therefore, I would have to register one elsewhere and move / transfer it over to Cloudflare purely out of simplicity and keep things under the same umbrella of Cloudflare. Obviously I can redirect the DNS from any registrar to Cloudflare.

I would initially register a .fr domain for the shortest time and then move that TLD to CF. I wondered what would be the best domain for that and easily transferred to CF without hassle.

This is the message I get, therefore, I assumed transfer to CF rather than register new.

You can only transfer a registration into Cloudflare if Cloudflare supports registering that TLD. So while you can of course use an .fr domain on Cloudflare, the registration will have to be someplace else.
