Can I have DNS record for a subdomain different from the main domain?

Hi everyone,

Thanks in advance. I need to add a subdomain to our site. e.g. portal.abc.com
Portal portion of the site will be on a different server with different IP.
Will cloudflare support that?

That’s absolutely supported, you can use A/AAAA/CNAME records to point to different locations within DNS records - please have a look here: Manage DNS records · Cloudflare DNS docs
