Can I deploy only in specific countries?

Hi everyone,

I’m quite new to Cloudflare, I looked for my question before asking but couldn’t find an answer*… :

I’m looking to reduce my TTFB and I wanted to give CF a try.
But as a french B2B business, we do not need our website to be replicated all around the world (not eco-friendly).

Is there a way to use only CF servers from specific countries ?
We’d keep France & US (foor Googlebot ?) locations .

*all topics about countries are discussing blocking or redirection

I suspect that you wildly overestimate the ecological impact of web access. Your motivation notwithstanding, you can probably adapt the following to meet your needs.

Blocking all countries?

Try this. It blocks NOT those countries IF it’s not a Known Bot (good crawler). You can delete the Known Bot part if you’re ok with blocking Google/Bing/etc. crawls from outside your country list. You’d probably be ok without that check, as most of the bots I like crawl from the US. [Screen Shot 2021-12-31 at 6.30.44 AM]
