Can hackers make Cloudflare ban a domain (zone) to prevent the domain's owner to use Cloudflare?

Hello,

one of our web sites is under attack now.
We tried to add this domain to Cloudflare but it says that this zone (domain) is banned. Support article says:

When Cloudflare observes too many attempts to add a domain to Cloudflare, an error is returned:
Error with Cloudflare request: [1105] This zone is temporarily banned and cannot be added to Cloudflare at this time, please contact Cloudflare Support.

So we suppose that the hackers have tried to add our domain multiple times to Cloudflare to make it ban it.

How to handle this? Is it an issue of Cloudflare?

well, I have already sent a request. The problem that when you are filling a request you must select a domain. But this domain has not been added yet. So I had to select another my domain just to finish the request.

For these cases you can drop them an email at support@ as well.

Respectively, it would have been best to use the search as that topic has been covered way too many times

In short, only support can help you here.

oh, thanks!

Temporary bans usually clear themselves in a couple of hours, if you try again and are successful, note that on any ticket.
