Caching Level - No query string?

Hello, I have a question about Caching Level. I recently installed the Cloudflare Plugin with APO activated. I was going through my settings and saw that my Caching Level is set for “No query string”

It used to be set to standard, did APO plugin do that?

Also do I need to still have my Page rules for Cache Everything still setup? Or can someone point me in the right direction for Page Rules w/ APO active.

Thank you in advance!

It wouldn’t surprise me if it did, as I believe wp-login will have a query string to redirect to wp-admin, and you don’t want that to be cached.

However, that kills the caching for version strings on css and js. Maybe @yevgen can let us know if this is intentional. As we’re heading into a holiday weekend, I don’t know if there’s much coverage over the next few days.

APO doesn’t change Caching Level settings when enabled.

Probably not, docs for APO and Page rules integration is here: https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049822312#h_01ER098Z0DRS95ERCMZRV3022S

Do I need to change it back to Standard? I didn’t change it, I’m not technically savvy so just leant what’s best.

Thank you and merry Christmas!

If APO didn’t change it, then go with Standard. Many sites need Standard caching due to version control query strings on CSS and JS files.
