Cache issue post-migration

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

Hi there, I am looking for some support regarding a website hosted on Cloudflare and in particular with an issue related to caching and potentially other aspects. Recently, we attempted to launch a website by migrating our staging website (staging.enhance-me-training.com) onto the live website (enhance-me-training.com). On the staging website which is also hosted on cloudflare, there were no issues with the cache or any other visible issues related to Cloudflare. However, once we migrated the staging website onto the live domain, there were issues with the website. In particular, certain elements were missing features and it seems that this was due to missing JavaScript and CSS after the migration. For example, the product carousels would only show one product rather than showing 16 and the infinite repeating feature on these carousels was also missing. When viewing the website when logged into WordPress and also when viewing the site directly through the server, the issues were not visible and so we believe that this is a Cloudflare cache issue. The hosting company also agreed that this was due to Cloudflare caching or other aspects related to Cloudflare.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

We tried to purge the cache on the live domain and also turned on development mode but this did not fix the issue. We also have no additional rules within the Cloudflare set up. There is Rocket Loader, Speculation and a standard level cache active on the website.

The issue isn’t happening on the staging site or live site at the moment so it’s hard to show this happening in real time but if there are any strategies that we can use to stop this happening again once we launch the website again, that would be great.
