So you enabled minifcation via a page rule and not globally? Are you sure the path is correct? Post a screenshot of that page rule.
Well, the page rules wont take any effect, however you also enabled it globally in your second screenshot, right?

For starters, that document does not contain valid HTML either.
However, AFAIK Cloudflare does not remove carriage returns from HTML documents. Try indentation in the document and check whether that is kept as well.
