Full DNS setup

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

We need Full DNS setup but have questions about the process. We have the Pro Plan but would like chat support. Should we sign up for the Business Plan for a month and then downgrade after everything is working properly?

@justin34 if you want to go from a partial to a full DNS setup, you need to select Convert to Primary DNS on this page, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns/settings

After that, two nameservers will be assigned on https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns/records.

Contact your domain registrar to have the nameservers changed to just those two. You’ll also need to check your DNS records and update them as needed.

Thank you for your response. So are we adding all records from the registrar DNS to Cloudflare including TXT and MX records etc?

Yes, you’ll need to recreate the records in your cloudflare dash
