Broken edge server

The edge server for chesschunking.xyz, which is proxied through Cloudflare, is not accepting TCP connections on port 443.

$ curl https://chesschunking.xyz -v
*   Trying 99.83.154.118:443...
* connect to 99.83.154.118 port 443 failed: Timed out
* Failed to connect to chesschunking.xyz port 443 after 21380 ms: Couldn't connect to server
* Closing connection 0
curl: (28) Failed to connect to chesschunking.xyz port 443 after 21380 ms: Couldn't connect to server

That domain name does not use Cloudflare, it is currently tied to the name servers dns101.registrar-servers.com and dns102.registrar-servers.com.

99.83.154.118, as you quote, is also NOT a Cloudflare IP address, but one that Namecheap apparently as a default page for newly created websites (although, it doesn’t appear to support https://!).

Accessing it over http:// says:

This domain was recently registered at Namecheap.com. Please check back later!

So it sounds more like something you should be discussing with Namecheap?

Ah, you are correct. The domain expired yesterday and Namecheap reverted the nameservers. At time of posting, accessing it via HTTP returned 403 Forbidden. I appreciate your detective work.
