Bots are signing up with the same first and last name (the last name has two extra letters).
I currently have but fight mode enabled, all options are toggle Don, except for Static resource protection.
The Bott sign ups flare up when I post to social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube). I posted last Friday and started seeing more bots, so I took down the site linktree link on Instagram and TikTok, but still saw a wave of bots. It has since quieted down.
I had about 180 total bot signups over the weekend, which seems to be par for the course.
It is not affecting the site function, but if it continues I won’t have an accurate idea of how many customers I have.
Not sure if this is a Cloudflare issue, but thanks for reading and for your suggestions.
Cloudflare Turnstile might help. This plugin is not made by Cloudflare, but it does a fantastic job at adding Turnstile to WordPress.
