Bot Fight Mode for Definite Bots - is blocking Google?

I am seeing these in the firewall activity log. Why is CF blocking bots Google?

I don’t think that’s Googlebot. More likely, user content that’s hosted by Google. Here’s a list of Googlebot IPs.

One thing that I would like to get clarification is this:

Does the Super Both Fight Mode blocks any kind of bots, including good and useful ones like Google’s, or it distinguishes them?

I read the reference you posted and thanks for that post.
If SPFM isn’t distinguish good from bad bots and there is no other way to override this, then the SPFM feature becomes totally useless. There is no reason to enable it.

But that’s why you have to toggle an Allow for Verified bots.

Good catch. I hadn’t even checked the IP address. The User Agent string should also have been a clue that I missed.
