Blocks sites on MacBook but not iOS devices

leaktest from Macbook resolves to Cloudflare and test sites are blocked.

iOS devices surf unimpeded and show Akamai as DNS provider? On iOS both Safari and DuckDuckGo behave the same.

No VPNs configured. On same WiFi network.

Why is iOS recalcitrant?
