Blocking country Firewall Rule

Just to test, I have been creating a firewall rule exactly in the way you explain, and show with your screenshot, as well as in the end, clicking “Deploy firewall rule”, it seems to work completely fine from my end.

When refreshing the site, I instantly got an “Access denied [Error code 1020]”.
→ You do not have access to example.com.
→ The site owner may have set restrictions that prevent you from accessing the site.

The only variation from your example, is that with my test, I did not actually select IN/India.

That leads me to a couple of other questions:

  1. Do you have any other firewall rules?
With multiple firewall rules, the actual order / priority of them can give very different results, e.g. the following order would never reach the blocking of IN/India, as IN/India would already have been allowed, by being within the continent of AS/Asia.
    Allow anyone from continent AS/Asia
    Block anyone from country IN/India

  2. What exactly are you basing the assumption that the rule does not work on?

  3. If you are attempting to test the rule yourself, how exactly do you test it?
