Blocked by Cloudflare when creating PHP code snippet (admin account))

My Cloudflare is Cloudflare Basic provided by Bluehost. I am logged in as admin. When I am updating a PHP code snippet, certain code will make Cloudflare block the action when I try to save the PHP code snippet: It gives me the error:

Sorry, you have been blocked

You are unable to access […]

Why have I been blocked?

This website is using a security service to protect itself from online

attacks. The action you just performed triggered the security

solution. There are several actions that could trigger this block

including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or

malformed data

What can I do to resolve this?

You can email the site owner to let them know vou were blocked.

Please include what you were doing when this page came up and

the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page.

What are my options as it appears BlueHost and Cloudflare do not have any advanced settings for Cloudflare Basic maybe because it is free. Therefore if I do not buy Premium CF, then are my only options to use Cloudflare Basic or not use it? Or is there some other means whereby I can send that Cloudflare Ray ID and it will be allowlisted?

Normally, you’d do that with a firewall rule. (The terms Cloudflare Basic & Premium CF are specific to BlueHost offerings,)

To create a rule in the cloudflare dash go here, https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/firewall/firewall-rules

Bluehost escalated and got back to me. They also confirmed it is only possible to get around this issue with the premium CF product which I assume includes a CF dashboard. Thanks for the info!
