Block Bing Bot for few hours of the day

Hello,

I got approx. 30k request from Bing bot, that cause my site down. Is there any way in ClouldFlare that I can block Bing bot for few hours of the day. So the number of request will be reduced.

Are these genuine requests from Microsoft or are these clients which pose as Bing? Depending on that (and on whether you really want to block Microsoft) you’d need to use different approaches.

The easiest way would certainly be to use the User Agent blocking offered by Cloudflare for Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; bingbot/2.0; +http://www.bing.com/bingbot.htm)

You do need to be aware that you will be blocking Bing as a whole. You should really establish if this is them or not.
