I want to enable my customers to add domains that will get routed to a single worker I have on my Cloudflare account.
Is it better to add them with Cloudflare SaaS custom hostnames, or just add them one by one to my Cloudflare account (as a top level zone) so I can then configure them to route to the worker with a worker route?
Each domain can have many 1st level subdomains, each with working HTTPS.
Wildcards subdomains are not supported in “saas custom hostnames” unless you are on the Enterprise plan.
This is why I am considering just adding all the domains directly to my account, Cloudflare DNS has subdomain HTTPS wildcards enabled by default.
But will there be any issues adding many domains this way?
