Basic Authentication Not Working When Proxy Enabled

Good Day,

Basic authentication to our SharePoint 2019 farm is not working when proxy is enabled, off it works fine. We just receive a looping logon dialog when good credentials are entered, no errors reported.

  • We have the CF origin SSL cert installed on the server.
  • We have the Full option for SSL selected.
  • Firewall allows https.

Troubleshooting included switching to Development Mode Overview page to disable cache. Same results.
