Bandwidth Consumption on Grey Cloud

Scenario

Let’s say we have a great domain named test.cox (I know this is not a real domain)
The domain @ dns records is using cloudflare proxy protection :orange: (orange cloud)
We also have 10 subdomains but none of them are using cloudflare proxy protection :grey: (grey cloud)

test.cox :orange:
x1.test.cox :grey:
x2.test.cox :grey:
x3.test.cox :grey:
x4.test.cox :grey:

Explaining

The main domain test.cox :orange: has a normal traffic which does not exceed cloudflare’s bandwidth usage policy. But subdomains :grey: has a huge traffic like 150TB /daily.

Question

In this case, does DNS only records :grey: consume bandwidth on cloudflare which may lead an domain suspension? Or only proxied :orange: dns records consume bandwidth?

Long story short

Does DNS Only :grey: option on subdomains consume cloudflare bandwidth?

Does DNS Only :grey: option on subdomains consume cloudflare bandwidth?

Not unless it points to a record which is :orange:, which in your example it does not.
