Azure Storage Static Website

Hi there,

this help article indicates that you can use Cloudflare in front of Azure Storage to have a custom domain with SSL: https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021902391-Enabling-Cloudflare-SSL-on-Azure-Storage-Static-Web-Hosting-Applications

I tried to set it up - but directing my cloudflare domain to the storage address results in http 400: The request URI is invalid.

What do I miss?

Thanks,
Max

Yes. As of now it works only for subdomains. I want to have it for the root domain.
To get it working you can put Azure CDN in between…

I couldn’t get it to work without Azure CDN.

So the request goes to cloudflare cdn then to Azure CDN and then finally to Azure Storage. Not ideal, but it works and is super cheap… I have done it for both https://melcher.dev and https://www.melcher.dev
