I have an Azure CDN which I’ve set up a custom domain for. I set up the CNAME in Cloudflare as unproxied so that the domain would verify in Azure and I’m using the Azure managed certificate setting.
All is working fine.
What I’d like to do now is set the CNAME entry in Cloudflare to be proxied.
I’ve tried this on a test server and it’s all working ok at the moment, but my concern is that at some point when the certificate is renewed, Azure will fail the domain verification because of Cloudflare proxying and it’ll stop working.
Has anyone tried this before? I’m not sure how often the CDN managed certs in Azure renew so I don’t know how long I’ll need to wait to prove it’s ok/not ok before replicating this in production.
