Azure CDN custom domain not resolving

I have exactly the same problem as this >> Azure CDN endpoint custom domain not resolving

Except I have definitely added a CNAME record and not an A record and upon checking CNAME Flattening it was already set as “Flatten at root”, it is still not resolving. I would have replied to the topic above but it’s now closed.

Can anyone help?

The record is proxied, is it not? Unproxy it and it should properly resolve as CNAME.

Yes it is/was, I changed this to “DNS Only” and it now works, thanks!

Can you enlighten me, as I’m not too hot on networking, what are the implications of switching from Proxied to DNS Only? has all on that.

With :grey: you are essentially connecting directly to your server.
