Hi,

I’m trying for a couple of days to activate a domain in Cloudfare that was purchased via AWS.
Whois records already show the updates for more than 48 hours, the registrar configuration was done according to the instructions and still the website is not active and the name cannot be resolved.

Any ideas on how to handle this?

You have a discrepancy between the Cloudflare nameservers listed in your whois record and the ones being returned by DNS. I would start by ensuring that the nameserver pair listed in your Cloudflare account matches the pair in your whois records.

Salvador and Tori are not Logan and Olivia. Something is definitely wrong there.

Interesting,

I don’t see tori and salvador anywhere on my registrar, could that be something at Cloudfare end? – Any ideas on what should I do to fix this?

I’m seeing logan and olivia being resolved this morning.

Is the domain active in your Cloudflare account now?

Not yet,

Maybe it’s something going a bit slower slow on AWS registrar end. It might resolve in a few hours then. Let’s wait.

So I am clear, logan and olivia are the nameservers assigned in your Cloudflare dashboard DNS, right?

Yes.

the other ones were from a first change request I made last Thursday to the registrar by mistake (from another dashboard) which I corrected on Friday.

The domain is not yet active and I don’t see what else I can do on that regard. Config in AWS seems to be correct and fully updated, DNSSEC is not active. So I don’t have any clue why Cloudfare can’t seem to activate my domain.

Any additional steps or recommendations on this?
