I was lured in by Automatic Platform Optimization settings and started paying for the service…
But, I’m wondering how helpful it will be for me since my website is a membership site with logged in users. Will it benefit my users? Or is it a “logged in users don’t get cached pages” situation?
It’s this. APO is great for browsing (not joined), but as soon as a page is customized for that visitor, APO has to Bypass caching.
So, if I have a community forum based website where people log in… it isn’t worth paying for APO? (Obviously, it will help for people who stumble on the site, but I’m more interested in my users’ experience)
