Authenticated Origin Request - which ssl config file do i use?

I am in the process of setting up authenticated origin pulls. I’ve read over the article on cloudflare.com and it mentions downloading the certificate file and placing on the server. It then metions adding some config to the SSL config file. I don’t understand what is meant by the SSL config file.

Do you have root access to your web server configuration files? Does your server run Apache, or is it NGINX?
