Someone or a few are attacking my page with an IP address belonging to Cloudflare. What can I do?
Block the ips or requests
But isn’t Cloudflare responsible for what goes on behind their IP? It is a crime that is committed. Should I just close the door?
This would make ISPs responsible whenever attacks are launched from infected customers .
Absolutely
Not at all, theres some actions you can take
https://abuse.cloudflare.com/
Give information about the attack you are facing and CF will most likely suspend the account of whoever is launching those attacks.
On top of that, I’d report the attacks to the police, if its part of an attack campaign it might help them investigate any ongoing case.
What is the best way to block IPs participating in constant (mild) attacks? Setting “I’m Under Attack” mode is not good for valid visitors, so not a good choice to leave it enabled. Plus, mine is a ~35–80 simultaneous requests from different IPs, but all resolve to Cloudflare.
