Attach public (.cer) certificate

#1

Hi All,

We are setting up a government based website that sits on a subdomain (e.g. newwebsite.qld.gov.au) and I have had the domain in CF modified to a CNAME setup and the TXT record is now verified.

I have been given an SSL certificate in the form of a public .cer file (i.e. no password or .pfx) and I don’t seem to be able to see how or where I can attach the certificate to the domain.

Thanks for your help,
Russ

Only Business and Enterprise plans let you use your own SSL certificate.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. We are on a business plan currently.

I have gone into the Upload Custom SSL certificate and key page, but that is expecting a key which I don’t have.

Cheers,
Russ

You definitely need the Private Key as well as the Public Key.
