Assistance Required with Domain Registration and DNS Record Updates

What is the name of the domain?

westcountyltd.co.uk

What is the issue you’re encountering

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I registered the domain westcountyltd.co.uk yesterday, but I am currently experiencing several issues that I am unable to resolve:

The SSL certificate for the domain appears to be invalid, and I am receiving the error: ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH.
None of the DNS records (A, TXT, MX) seem to be updating despite my efforts to configure them.
I have verified the settings on my end and waited for DNS propagation, but the issue persists. It appears that the records are not propagating at all.

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Just opened URL and the issue placed

Screenshot of the error

Your site is returning DNS records but doesn’t seem to have an edge certificate. It also seems your SSL/TLS mode is set to “Flexible” as a Worker connects, but returns a 1014 error. Can you show a screenshot of your DNS records? Who is your web host? Make sure Universal SSL is enabled. If it is, you can try to disable, wait 2 minutes, then enable it again. (Only do this once to avoid rate limiting from the CA).

i am unable to connect with hosting since they can’t verify domain when the TXT record will be updated they will able to verify the domain name.

OK, something a little strange is your domain is acting as if there is a wildcard DNS record, which doesn’t show on your screenshot.

Can you try deleting the DNS records, then entering them again (mail should be set to “DNS only” and not “Proxied” as well). As your domain is registered with Cloudflare Registrar, DO NOT try to fix it by removing the site from Cloudflare as that will break things more.

Once done, post back. If it’s still behaving oddly I’ll see if someone can take a look as I recall seeing the odd wildcard issue before.
