Argo tunnel crash after a few thosand requests

Last night I had a few thousand requests (the project is currently small so it normally only get 5-10 requests a day) get blocked around 10~11PM. I presume these were attacks as the dashboard shows ~99% of the requests were without SSL which I dont understand as I specifically force HTTPS. To recap, 6/29/2020 around 10PM I received 3000 requests (that I assume cloudflare blocked as I have no logs of http requests).

This morning at ~1am my argo tunnel appears to have gone done for the first time in days. Here are a snippet of my logs:
“xxxxx” denotes a removed hash

[2020-06-25T06:25:32.231028399-05:00]: Each HA connection's tunnel IDs: map[xxxxx]

I see a distinct jump in logging from the 25th to the 30th which I presume would mean the tunnel failed today. I’m wondering how I may go about solving this issue as currently the tunnel is up and running but for how long, I do not know. Thanks for your time

Hi there,

Ok, so the best thing to do right now would be to enable debug logging.

Note the debug flag for loglevel

From there, you will have more of an idea on where the issue lies.

Do this, then find what is occurring and work to resolve the issue on your origin (most likely)

I’d also suggest you update cloudflared to the latest version

cloudflared update

To ensure you are running the newest version.

Do the above and reach out if you are unsure where the issue lies. If you are not comfortable sharing debug logs in the community, you can open a ticket to [email protected] instead (From your Cloudflare account email address)
