Is there any other fee than just the automatic one-year renewal that Cloudflare charges for? Wouldn’t there be a transfer fee when transferring from one registrar to another (e.g: GoDaddy)?
The fee for transferring between registrars isn’t a registrar fee, it’s a fee required by the registry/ICAAN that extends the domain by one year upon transfer and every registrar has to do it.
Thank you for you reply. So basically, if I’m moving my domains from GoDaddy to CF and Cloudflare states that I have to pay a total of $XXX for renewing the domains for one-year in advance, that would be the total fee I pay throughout the whole transfer process.
Just that. Cloudflare doesn’t add its own fee, and the renewal fee is what the registry is charging Cloudflare.
