What is the issue you’re encountering

I have users that are able to access the folders on a sql server in cloudflare. however, when they run an application that reaches out the the sql database it fails, as if it cannot connect. How would I resolve that?

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I’ve made sure all ports and connections are allowed on the policies and turned off firewall blocking for ICMP and UDP in the Proxy. I’m new to cloudflare, so I’m not too savvy on what to do next.

Also worth mentioning, we are moving over from Sonicwall SMA and the user was able to access this application and run it connected to the SQL server through that, so I’m nearly certain it’s not server side. I believe it has something to do with my routing or policies, but I’m not clear on what might be preventing it.
