What is the issue you’re encountering
Apple Music on Windows not working with Zero Trust Warp client
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
- Added numerous Apple-related IPs and domains to the exceptions list
- Added a Do Not Scan rule on Apple’s applications.
The issue resolves as soon as I disable the Zero Trust via the WARP client. The issue is not present if I am using DNS over HTTPS only, but it appears as soon as I connect the WARP client. I have added Cloudflare’s root certificate to Trusted as per the documentation articles. - I checked all traffic logs, but there is nothing blocked, even slightly related to Apple or any of its services
- There is no issue with accessing music.apple.com via the web.
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
Install Apple Music from the Microsoft Store on Win 11 and try to log in with WARP Zero Trust running. Turn the warp off, log in and then turn it back on and then try to play something or search for a song.
