APO problem - conflict with bypass cache on cookie system - Part II

Hi Cloudflare-coomunity,

this is a follow-up regarding this article:

We have been in touch with the plugin author and this is now the answer:

the cookie must be prefixed with “wordpress” so that the “once per session” feature can work properly when Cloudflare is enabled. If we remove the prefix “wordpress”, the loader will appear every time the page loads (means that the once per session feature will not work).

Any other solution you could think of how to make this work?

Thank you

I don’t think we can make it work with “once per session” preloader functionality and APO. From theirs own words:

If we remove the prefix “wordpress”, the loader will appear every time the page loads (means that the once per session feature will not work).

Even if we ignore plugin specific cookie to serve from Cache we will break the plugin functionality. I think such plugin feature is not compatible with Edge caching.

I just flag it as a solution, but unfortunately, it is no solution for that specific case. Thank you.
