What is the issue you’re encountering

I am trying to enable Automatic Platform Optimization (APO) for my WordPress site using the official Cloudflare plugin. Every time I toggle APO on, it initially appears enabled, but after refreshing the page or revisiting the plugin settings, it switches back to “Off.” Also, Cloudflare does not seem to recognize that the plugin is installed on my site, and APO does not remain active.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. Checked that WordPress and the Cloudflare plugin are up to date.
  2. Confirmed my domain is active on Cloudflare and DNS records are proxied.
  3. Used valid API credentials (API Token or Global API Key).
  4. Verified there are no other caching or optimization plugins installed.
  5. Disabled all other plugins temporarily to rule out conflicts.
  6. Tried enabling APO via the Cloudflare dashboard (Speed → Optimization), but the plugin still shows it as “Off.”

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

. Log into WordPress:
Access your WordPress admin panel with a valid administrator account.

  1. Navigate to the Cloudflare Plugin Settings:
Go to the section where the Cloudflare plugin is configured.

  2. Enable APO:
Toggle the Automatic Platform Optimization (APO) feature to the “On” position.

  3. Save Changes (if applicable) and Refresh:
If there is a save button, click it; then refresh or reload the page.

  4. Observe APO Status:
Notice that after the page reloads, the APO toggle automatically resets to “Off.”

  5. Verify in Cloudflare Dashboard:
Check your Cloudflare account dashboard to see that the plugin is not recognized as active or that APO isn’t properly enabled on your site.

  6. Repeat if Necessary:
Attempt the process again to confirm that the issue occurs consistently
