APO isn't purging when releasing a new post

What is the name of the domain?

What is the issue you’re encountering

Whenever a new article is published, the site doesn’t purge as it should. I’ve never made any changes to the site and have been running WP Rocket with CF for years with no issues whatsoever. It’s only been recently that the issues began to occur. In the end, I noticed that if I turn off APO then it’ll purge as it should. I’m wondering if anyone can have a look and see what’s going on as I’m just confused as to how it was working perfectly fine and now it’s not. My cache hit rate has gone from 98% down to 63% as a result.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  • rolled back theme, as issue began when theme was updated although the rollback didn’t help
  • I use WP Rocket and have done for years with no issues, I even tried uninstalling that
  • Spoke to host for any issues and nothing they could see
  • Only thing that helps is purging the cache in full

I checked your homepage and one of your posts, and for both of them, Cloudflare is not configured to catch your full HTML pages.

cf-apo-via: origin,no-cache
cf-cache-status: BYPASS

So I’m curious, what cache specifically do you purge that helps? Cloudflare? WP Rocket? Litespeed? Something else?

I use the purge everything option in Cloudflare which does the trick and will show any new changes or posts I make to the site but that’s the only thing I’ve found to work, or by disabling APO altogether
