After four days with APO activated ( my configuration is : Automatic Platform Optimization + Cache By Device Type) a message on Smartphones like “Our system thinks you might be a robot” is shown.
Refreshing the cache, the error solves, but we are pretty sure that will appear again.
I set a Mobile redirect from https://photo-to-text.com to https://photo-to-text.com/mob using a wordpress pluggin (302 Homepage Redirect).
This fail only happens on smartphones.
That doesn’t sound like a Cloudflare message. Can you post a screenshot?
We have contacted with our hosting service (siteground) and the message is from them. It is shown when there are many acceses from an IP to our site.
In this case, we have a 302 redirect where if you visit the site from desktop you go to https://photo-to-text.com/ and if you visit it from mobile or tablet, you go to https://photo-to-text.com/mob/.
The problem happened after we activated APO with Cache By Device Type.
From the hosting, they have checked out that there were not many acceses from an IP, so they think that the problem is on the CDN in Cloudflare.
Any help?
Which problem? That too many people are visiting your site? Does their system restore visitor IP addresses? Or are they just seeing Cloudflare’s proxy IP addresses?
We don’t know … Two many people visiting our site of course not, because our sites does not receive so many visits. We don’t really know where is the problem. Any solution?
I think we can agree that this is a false positive. As only your host knows the technical details of the server configuration, they should be able to figure out what’s triggering the warning. It’d be nice if they could just turn it off for your site since you have firewall options with Cloudflare.

When APO is activated this list of the request headers will contain the real visitor IP:
Siteground should read eyeball IP from those headers.
