What is the issue you’re encountering

Hello. I have 2 problems that I would like to discuss with the community: For quite some time I have been using Cloudflare DNS in my internet configuration (1.1.1.1 as primary and 1.0.0.1 as secondary) without problems. I recently installed the Cloudflare Warp app with the intention of using it occasionally in my internet browsing with the 1.1.1.1 + WARP option. When I enable it, it works fine, but after disabling it, loading web pages (any page) is very slow. I must restart the computer to recover normal speed. What could be happening? The other problem is that I have version 2024.11.309.0 of Cloudflare Warp installed and the application offers me to update to the new version 2024.12.554.0, but when I try to update, after downloading the file, it says it cannot open the installation package. Thanks for your answers.

May I ask which OS are you running?

Does it happen lately, and only with this version, or you noticed this since even before?

Thanks for responding @fritex.
I use Windows 10 on a desktop PC and have very recently installed Couldflare WARP. The problem occurs from the beginning.

It is only very slow when loading the initial page, for example of a newspaper, then the speed is normal.

News:

  1. I downloaded the new version from the Cloudflare website and was able to install it manually. The problem described in the first comment persists, but:
  2. I have configured the browser to continue running in the background when I close it. I have found that restarting the browser solves the problem.
I don’t know if these are problems that Cloudflare wants to solve, I’m recording them. Personally I can live with them; Restarting the browser is not as dramatic as restarting the computer.
    Greetings.

Maybe it’s due to the Web browser cache, cookies & data in such case?

Thank you for feedback!

It is possible @fritex. I don’t have enough knowledge about these questions to give you an answer. :slightly_frowning_face:
