Anyone else having a nightmare with Cloudflare?

this has been terrible service. My site is down constantly, and as somebody who doesn’t have a strong grasp on websites, it’s been an absolute nightmare trying to troubleshoot between Bluehost, my wordpress site, and the lack of customer service here…

Very terrible.

Here you can see if Cloudflare has any Problems:
https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/

Im Pretty Sure Cloudflare is not the Problem, but feel free to describe what you see when your Website is Offline

The site is selling damn bunnies. I’m using wordpress, and I have bluehost as the host. Between bluehost and cloudflare i’m getting pinged around like a pool ball.

If it’s not this, it’s periodically up online. I’ve also been told by customers that Its showing 500 error or 404 error.

within Cloudflare it’s saying “177 malicious requests blocked or challenged in the last month”

Literally feeling helpless… nobody has been able to help and I’m not a technical person, nor have I time in the day to deal with this while running a company.

What you see there looks like a domain holding screen. This is normally displayed by a webhost when a domain is for sale. Cloudflare has nothing to do with it, this comes directly from your webhost in your case Bluehost.

I just accessed your domain and got first a 404 error and then a 500 server error. The 404 error had the website logo in it and therefore came directly from the web server and not from Cloudflare. The 500 Internal Server Error did not have “Cloudflare” in its text and thus also came from your hosting provider directly.

It seems that Cloudflare has nothing to do with your Errors.

Do you have Access to the Server Error Logs?

No, never had it.

Regarding the Bluehost, WordPress and Cloudflare, kindly see more topics about it here:

Is this a parking page for your domain given from Bluehost?
Is the domain sold or?

I appreciate your help. As I mentioned I don’t have a strong understanding of this, and I must have wasted 10 hours over the span of 2 weeks on the phone with Bluehost. It’s evident that they have no idea what’s going on either, and have said that over 10 customer service interactions.

I think I’ll just switch to GoDaddy.

As of recent they told me;;

I see that the A record of your website is http://www.mlopsworld.com/ is not pointing to the Bluehost account IP. You can check here: DNS Checker - DNS Propagation Check & DNS Lookup I would suggest you to update below DNS record on your domain, so that website will be accessed from our server without any trouble: Type: A Host: @ Points to: 173.254.69.182 Type : CNAME Host : www Points to: mlopsworld.com

I’ve had to point, repoint, and point again and it’s been ongoing. I’m not sure how it’s possible that a website can repoint on it’s own or perhaps when we make changes to the website? …here is the error log…

Then they dont understand that you are using Cloudflare and this is expected.

As i said the Error itselfs seems to come from your Webhost. So Cloudflare cant do anything about it.

bluehost " As name server of domain is pointing to Cloudflare, we do not have access to update the DNS record of your domain. However to resolve this issue permanently, I would suggest you to update Bluehost name server on your domain"

There seems to be a lot of Plugin Errors in Your Wordpress Installation

What’s “et-cache”? It sounds like a plugin you should try disabling.

And I can’t imagine that “bloom_old” is a legitimate name for a plugin. Some system probably renamed it to try to disable it instead of toggling the Disable from wp-admin.

Elementor or Divi Builder?

@tmls.mlops I believe the errors are related due to WordPress/PHP more than Cloudflare itself.

All Searches shows that this Belongs to the Divi Theme or Builder.

That can’t be good, as it looks like they have another cache plugin: Endurance Cache, a Must-Use plugin installed by the host.

Probably a problem with 2 simultaneous cache plugins then.
And the PHP error from the bloom_old plugin comes on top of that.

I was speaking with bluehost and the customer service rep mentioned that a wordpress plugin was out of date and they’d update it for me. Immediately after the site was down and she had hung up. I called back only to have someone try and convince me it wasn’t their doing.

I’ll be honest, this sounds like a hosting problem. My best advice would be - find out from Bluehost what IP address they want you to put in your @ record in the DNS panel in the Cloudflare dashboard.

" the lack of customer service here…"
Bear in mind this is community support… It appears you are very time pressured, have you considered upgrading to a paid tier? For example, with Pro ($20/month) you get:
“Support response: Median email response time of less than 4 hours for urgent issues”.
