What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Hi. The website builder I used to create my website doesn’t offer a free SSL certificate (it costs 60 USD!), so I am trying to figure out if there is any workaround to install a free SSL certificate, in some way.

Unfortunately, my Website Builder doesn’t have a Cpanel. It has just the Website Builder + a DNS Management page (please see screenshot). Is there anything I can try from this DNS Management page, to install a free SSL certificate?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide (in English or Italian)

Francesco

If your host doesn’t let you install a certificate, there’s not really much you can do, except move to a different provider.

Your four topics here, going back to 2018, are all on the same subject of your various hosts not allowing you to install SSL certificates: PowerHoster (2018), GoDaddy Websites(2020)… and now something else in 2025?

If you’re still using GoDaddy Website Builder, that now comes with integrated SSL on all plans out of the box. If yours isn’t working, contact GoDaddy for assistance.

And if you’ve moved to yet another online website builder that doesn’t support basic HTTPS out of the box, perhaps you should start to give some serious thoughts to the providers you choose to spend your money with. No offence intended.

Good luck!
