“Manage excluded apps” option missing from Cloudflare One Agent on Android

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

No steps possible to restore the missing feature

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

The “manage excluded apps” option has been missing from the Cloudflare One Agent app since the end of March or so. I do not know exactly when it was removed, I only noticed when a number of Android apps, especially Google apps, stopped functioning correctly while the agent was activated.

I have seen at least one previous post on this issue in the community which was closed without comment. Has this feature been removed or deprecated? If so, it makes the Android app much less useful – many apps do not function correctly while connected to VPN, especially Google apps. I have previously excluded such apps, enabling the Cloudflare agent to remain connected at all times.

The option appears to have disappeared with the 2.4 update. I am using 2.3.1 and have the manage excluded apps option.

Have you had any issues running that version? I could always downgrade.

Got it.

As of yet no, seems fine. You might run into issues depending on your deployment, policies,…

Thanks, I’ll give it a shot. Seems to work fine with my configuration so far. Not sure why this feature was removed but it’s been frustrating.

No idea, and no mention of it in the change log

:waving_hand:t2: Just another CF Gateway admin here who hopes that feature resurfaces
