An MX record was not found for your root domain

#1

Hello,

I have this notification “An MX record was not found for your root domain. An MX record is required for mail to reach @xx.ro addresses.”

I can’t send emails from that email with my email app.

What should i set in the mx records?

Thank you

The MX records should point to your email server. If you use a hosted service like GSuite or Office 365, they have instructions for setting up the MX records.

You will need to go to the mail provider that you use (it could be your web host or you could be using an external service such as Gsuite or Zoho) and find the records you need. The MX records that you need can be found there. You will then need to add them in Cloudflare for your site to receive email to @yourdomain.com email addresses.
